iPad, accessibility and print checklist

These checks require the actual iPad, VoiceOver and printer. The automated release does not pretend to certify hardware it cannot operate.

Safari and touch

Open every app in portrait and landscape. Confirm primary controls can be tapped without accidental adjacent activation. Increase page zoom/text to 200% and confirm content remains usable. Add Blue Bridge to the Home Screen and launch it in standalone mode.

VoiceOver and keyboard

Enable VoiceOver and move through headings, navigation and primary controls in order. Confirm buttons announce meaningful names and current state. Use an external keyboard to reach all controls with visible focus. Enable Reduce Motion and confirm no essential information depends on animation.

Offline and updates

Use “Prepare supported apps offline”, enable Airplane Mode, then open every app that advertises offline support. Deploy a newer test release and confirm the update notice waits for approval. Repair one cache and confirm saved work remains present. Restart the iPad while offline and repeat the launch check.

AirPrint

Print an A4 pupil page from each printing application. Check page breaks, margins, answer visibility and colour/grayscale output. Confirm interface controls do not appear on printed pages. Record printer model and any device-specific margin adjustment.
